About the Booster Club
Our mission & purpose
We exist to strengthen, expand, and support the reach and capabilities of the Clearwater Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol.
The Clearwater Composite Squadron Booster Club was founded during a time of significant need — and backed by the generosity of hundreds of committed supporters. Our purpose is to ensure that every cadet and senior member has the resources necessary to carry out Civil Air Patrol’s missions with excellence.
Where our support goes
Our support directly enhances several core program areas within the squadron.
Cadet Programs
We help youth grow in leadership, aerospace education, physical fitness, and character development by providing funding for materials, activities, and enrichment opportunities.
Color Guard
We supply uniforms, equipment, and training that allow cadets to perform ceremonial duties with professionalism and pride.
Disaster Response
We assist the squadron in maintaining readiness by helping fund emergency supplies, training resources, and community-preparedness initiatives.
Leadership Development
We invest in training that ensures both cadets and adult members build confidence, responsibility, and strong decision-making skills.
Our role is simple but essential
We raise the money so the Clearwater Composite Squadron can focus on its mission. This includes funding educational programs, aerospace activities, quality experience trips, new equipment, uniforms, and other needs that elevate the squadron’s ability to serve the community and develop tomorrow’s leaders.
Every dollar raised directly supports the growth, safety, and success of the members who proudly represent the Civil Air Patrol in Clearwater and beyond.

The Unit We Support
Clearwater Composite Squadron (FL‑447)
The Clearwater Composite Squadron is a Civil Air Patrol unit that serves both youth and adults through a balanced, mission-focused structure. As a composite squadron, its membership includes cadets, cadet sponsors and parents, and active adult members.
Weekly meetings primarily center on helping cadets progress through the CAP Cadet Program, which develops leadership, aerospace knowledge, physical fitness, and character. Adult members support these efforts and may also participate in separate meetings or specialized training sessions scheduled as needed.
Together, the squadron works to build skills, serve the community, and uphold CAP’s mission of developing future leaders while supporting emergency services and aerospace education.
Every dollar stays with the squadron.
Help fund the uniforms, equipment, training, and experiences that build tomorrow’s leaders.
